Avara Stays (“we,” “us”) operates this website, The Gulf Shores Beach Collection, and offers vacation rentals in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, Alabama. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and bookings, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number and message when you contact us. When you book, we also collect your stay dates, the number of guests and pets, your billing address and your payment details.
- Payment information: payments are processed securely by our reservation system, OwnerRez, and its payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on this website.
- Automatically collected information: our web host may log basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and working.
How we use your information
To answer inquiries, take and manage reservations, process payments and security deposit holds, and send booking confirmations, check-in details and stay-related messages; to improve our website; and to comply with legal, tax and safety requirements.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide your stay: with our reservation and payment providers (OwnerRez and its payment processors); with our local cleaning and property-care team, who receive your name and stay dates; with a condo association where it requires guest registration (for example, The Oasis at Orange Beach requires guest registration for parking passes); and when required by law, or to protect the safety of our guests, our staff or our properties.
Security cameras
Some of our properties have exterior security cameras, which are disclosed in each property listing. No cameras are used inside the homes.
Data retention and security
We keep reservation records as long as needed for business, tax and legal purposes, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect your information.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows the latest version.
